Learn To Weave

We will be gathering at The Cabin at Shannon Farms for this extra special learn to weave class.

You will create a beautiful woven wall hangings. All different kinds of materials, fibres and other objects can be used to create your very own one-of-a-kind textile artwork!  

This workshop is for beginners but will also be great fun for someone who's tried their hand at weaving before.

You'll be taught several different weaving techniques that create different textural effects including tabby, rya and soumak.  

Cost: $95 per person plus GST

Time: Sunday afternoon,  1:00pm - 4:00pm 

Location: The Cabin At Shannon Farms - 8865 Beaver Creek Rd, Port Alberni

What You’ll Get: We will be using handy cardboard looms which will be your to take home. We will have lots of different yarns, fibres and other goodies to add to your weave.

Tea, coffee and snacks will be served up as well. 

What to Bring: All materials will be provided but you’re more than welcome to bring along anything you might like to include in your piece.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Due to the nature of these workshops all booking are final and no refunds will be issued. You are welcome to send someone in your place. If we have a waitlist for a class we can always try to fill you space as well but no guarantees so please be sure the dates and times work for you. 

The Cabin At Shannon Farms is at the end of Beaver Creek Road. Please give yourself enough time to make your way there. Class begin at 6.
